Enchanted Garden offers an exclusive chalet and cottage situated on a two acre property in Noordhoek, situated at the foot of Chapmans Peak in the Cape.

An exclusive chalet and cottage are situated on a two acre property in Noordhoek. Noordhoek is situated at the foot of Chapmans Peak and has a delightful village atmosphere, the ambience is tranquil and serene, with plenty of wide open spaces, unspoiled beaches and breathtaking scenery. Despite its country atmosphere, Noordhoek has a lot to offer, including restaurants, horse-riding, whale watching, hiking trails, surfing, bird-watching, a game reserve, an art route, nearby golf courses, camel rides and a penguin colony.

ACCOMMODATION:

Your chalet and cottage borders on pristine nature reserve, and every evening you will be able to view guinea fowl, geese, ducks, chickens. It is a common occurrence to observe black eagles, hawks, owls surveying their prey. You will also find yourself in the company of miniature horses, dogs and a pot-bellied pig. This is a non-smoking establishment.

The Chalet:
A wooden staircase leads to your luxurious chalet and private deck. The chalet consists of a lounge / dining-room with open plan kitchen; main bedroom with king-size or twin beds, built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom (bath, toilet, basin, heated towel rail), a second bedroom with king-size or twin beds and bathroom (shower, toilet, basin). All linen, bath towels and beach towels are supplied, as well as toiletries. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery).

The Cottage (Wheelchair Friendly):
Secluded and intimate, with a private veranda and garden. This cottage consists of a lounge / open plan fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with king-size or twin beds, built-in cupboards and en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, basin). All linen, bath towels and beach towels are supplied, as well as toiletries. In both the chalet and the cottage the following are supplied: Hair dryer, linen, bath towels, beach towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, fresh fruit and flowers on arrival. You have satellite TV (more than 40 channels including BBC, SKY, CNN) and wireless internet access.

Wheelchair Friendly Facilities:
All pathways are paved all the way to a wooden ramp that will lead you onto the cottage verandah.
The lounge/kitchen area is spacious for you to move around in your wheelchair.
Level access from kitchen/lounge to bedroom. From bedroom to bathroom there is a 6cm step but a ramp is provided for easy access to bathroom.
The height of the small dining table is 78cm. Stove, fridge, cupboards (90cm high), TV etc. are all easily accessible.
Spacious bedroom with cupboards and hang rail within reach.
Dressing table (75cm high) with plenty of leg space.
Height of bed is 64cm.
Spacious bathroom for maneuvering of wheelchair. Adequate space next to the toilet for side-ways transfer.
One grab rail for transfer. Height of grab rail is 80cm.

You enter the private garden of the cottage via a gate. From the gate the paving is brick and a wooden ramp will take you onto the verandah of the cottage. The sliding door to the open plan lounge/kitchen opens to the left.

The pool area and entertainment area is easily accessible and wheelchair friendly.
The enclosed entertainment area has a built -in- braai (barbecue), fridge, hot trolley, microwave, oven, cutlery, crockery, glasses, hi-fi, snooker / billiards table, a variety of games (trivial pursuit, backgammon, chess) and toilet facilities. You have the full use of our two pools.

Activities, sights and things to do in the area.
The Enchanted Garden is centrally situated, which makes it the perfect spot for you to drop anchor.
The Long Beach Shopping Mall is a few kilometres away. There are a large variety of shops, restaurants, banks. Nearby is the Noordhoek Farm Village which has various curio shops, restaurants and a farm stall with a variety of fresh produce and home-baked confectionery. At Cape Point Vineyards you can enjoy a picnic, the food market and wine tasting.
We are about 3 kilometers from the stunning Noordhoek Beach.

We are a 20 minute drive away from Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The most beautiful garden in Africa.
We are a 30 minute drive from the famous Table Mountain from where you can enjoy the finest views of the Mother City.
We are 20 minutes away from Constantia Valley with its superb wine estates.
We are 15 minutes away from Boulders Beach. This beach is famous for its colony of African Penguins.
We are 25 minutes away from Cape Point Nature Reserve. This is a must see destination. It offers spectacular sight seeing.
